L@WSLiP
L@WSLiP is a new and unique way of recording client’s transactions electronically.
Its innovative design and easy to use web based software means that time and money can be saved when recording accounts transactions.
The user interface is designed to work like a regular accounts slip that you may well recognize. However L@WSLiP can offer much more than a simple transaction slip.
L@WSLiP saves time
- As solicitors well know, time is money when it comes to practice administration.
- When used in conjunction with our bureau service, L@WSLiP can mean no more posting or faxing information and slips to us. Once the L@WSLiP has been submitted, it automatically saves to The Law Factory database.
- Once a cheque request has been submitted on L@WSLiP, the collator only needs to write the cheque and add the cheque number to the slip.
- L@WSLiP will save The Law Factory time because all slips will be legible and in order; so “paper pushing” is unnecessary. This will immediately reduce the bookkeeping costs.
- The L@WSLiP is stored digitally and therefore finding them will be faster and more efficient.
- As the information is being given to The Law Factory in “real time”, it enables us to keep fully up to date with the accounts processing at all times.
L@WSLiP saves paper
- Only one sheet of paper is printed at the solicitor’s office. This is then put on the file to which the slip relates.
- No paper is printed at The Law Factory as the slips are digitally stored and actioned from the screen.
- This not only helps save storage at both offices but paper saving makes the L@WSLiP way off recording accounts transactions much “greener”.
L@WSLiP is secure
- Regular slips go missing all too often.
- With L@WSLiP, all slips are kept digitally & they are backed up every day. This dramatically reduces the risk of losing accounts source information.
- If a slip does go missing from a solicitor’s file then we can re-print that slip for you from our L@WSLiP Archive. This will ensure that all of the correct slips are present on the file when the audit date comes & new slips will not have to be written out by the solicitor.
- Only specific, registered people can login to L@WSLiP to view the submitted slips. We can set up security privileges and settings to suit your needs. This reduces the risk of confidential slips being viewed by the wrong person.
- The logins are set up by us in conjunction with you including usernames, passwords and account privileges.
L@WSLiP ensures accuracy & helps queries
- There will be no question of slips being illegible as they are typed.
- If there is a problem with a slip or account, a query can be sent by us and will appear in the solicitor’s query inbox on L@WSLiP until it is solved.
- This allows the solicitor to be more aware of any errors that are encountered when the accounts are processed.
L@WSLiP encourages enquiry
- A solicitor can search for any L@WSLiP that has been submitted using our innovative search program that has been built in.
- L@WSLiP helps solicitors have a better understanding of the status of the accounts ledgers, by viewing the slips that have been processed.
- Slips can be found quickly and easily.
- Solicitors can see what progress has been made by The Law Factory since the last login.
